Keeping the tradition and magic of Carnival alive as West-Country clubs organisations & individuals come together to put on an illuminated carnival show.

Tens of thousands of spectators line the streets as the brightly decorated carnival floats marching bands & musicians and dance acts navigate the medieval streets of Wells.

The Somerset Carnivals are the largest illuminated processions in the world.

Wells Carnival forms part of the Guy Fawkes circuit which runs over a period of 2 weeks each and every November.
